Down To Earth

"Stand Without Fear" - Track 4

2 Chronicles 20 1 - 29

Bernie writes...

The word came as an encouragement for people going through various trials and difficulties. I felt that God was encouraging people who were saying, “We don't know what to do” Jehosaphat said the same thing when confronted by an overwhelming army set to destroy Israel. But Jehosaphat said “We don't know what to do Lord, but our eyes are on You” Jehosaphat chose to change His position from fear to trust and to worship God who held all things in His hand – the encouragement to people on the night was to Take your position change your position – there is more for you than against you – I felt God say – Jehosaphat saw and received his victory as he took up his position and worshiped God

I felt as well that this word is for people who may not be going through various trials. Train yourself in positions of faith, perseverance, praise, worship, prayer and the word. So we are fit and ready and know how to respond when it gets tough.

People who prepare to run a marathon train and work hard for the event – because they know that at some stage during the race its going to get tough and they will need to focus their energy and mind on what they have trained for – they know “They have got to finish the race”

Finally the evening at Lexden was marked by three marvellous manifestations of God's presence.

Firstly – There was a noise in the congregation that was louder than the number of people gathered. The noise became like a roar that was swelled by angelic hosts that evening.

Secondly – There was an awesome, and quite tangible and powerful sense of the presence and Glory of God as we worshipped Him that night.

Thirdly – We saw gold dust on people's hands and faces as we witnessed the Glory of God on that night.
