Kingsland Church - Values

Kingsland Church Values

The Absolute Authority of the Lord and his Written Word

No personal view can ever take priority over the Word of God and the fulfilment of his will in the Church. Therefore we seek to encourage a positive fear of the Lord and love of his word, expressed in worthy worship and willing service.

Our Absolute Poverty Unless We Walk In The Holy Spirit

We seek, and move on with, what God is doing in us as individuals, in our Church, in our town and on a wider scale. We can do nothing of lasting worth without him, so we submit our lives to his hand.

The Value of Christ's Church

Jesus died for his body, the Church, and is returning for it. We value the unity of the Spirit, and in an individualistic culture, seek to be committed to our families, to one another, and to the wider Church, that we may live as the family of God.

Our Individual Value In God's Sight

Every individual is precious to God, and is to be treated with integrity and respect, as we speak the truth in love.

Evangelism and the Making of Disciples

God has a heart for the lost, and we are committed to effective communication and demonstration of the Gospel to those who do not know him. We seek to be relevant to the people of our day so that they may become Christians and grow into healthy disciples. We encourage discipleship in our structures and ministries as we equip people to serve and discover their gifts.
