Many of the folks from Kingsland are working and serving God is towns and cities around the world, find out more about them here.

Uganda (Love in Action)
Alan and Beryl are working in Masaka Uganda. They opened an internet Cafe and have several projects with local schools and establishing homes for student girls. Check out Alan & Beryl’s blog here. Love in Action is a Christian Charity working in Uganda to support children's education through building schools and sponsoring children.

Bangladesh
Angela is working as a head teacher in Bangladesh after many years serving as a URC minister in Britain, most recently in Wivenhoe. This is her post-retirement service!

Sri Lanka
Beth Johnson regularly visits Sri Lanka as part of her work with Cry In the Dark, a registered charity, helping in orphanages and supporting herself by teaching English. Our friend Rhu lives is Colombo, Sri Lanka and organises prayer for the nation, runs a bible class, teaches children to paint in her art school, continues relief work and preaches regularly.

North Africa
Mike works as an artist and with handicapped and disabled children and young adults in a north African city.

Cyprus
Kat works in the club scene in Cyprus for 6 months of the year, seeking to befriend the workers and establish a Christian presence and outreach to the thousands of young people on the island.

Malawi
Mark and Maria are establishing a centre in Malawi to train fellow-believers to take the good news of Jesus to their neighbours, especially in the North and neighbouring countries.

Romania
Beth has visited Romania many times since she was a teenager and now oversees the hard hat challenge. Each year several teams build and maintain the orphanage and hospice that Cry in the Dark own and run. In 2010 a team of young people from Kingsland will join Beth in Romania.

We have other friends from the church in various other countries including Thailand, New Zealand, Switzerland, Australia and the USA
