a person in wheelchair in the evening light

Here at Kingsland, we take accessibility seriously. With a parking capacity for 80 vehicles, we aim to welcome everyone to the centre.

  • Disabled parking spaces in the car park
  • A ramp up to the front entrance of the church
  • A lift from the ground floor to the first floor (currently being replaced)
  • Wide doors to accommodate pushchairs and wheelchairs
  • Once you are on the first floor, all rooms are on the same level
  • Kings Cafe is available to all
  • Separate accessible toilet facilities
  • Large font welcome sheets
  • Guide dogs are welcome, and drinking water can be provided
  • A good quality hearing loop which covers the cafe area, the main meeting room (Shekinah) and some smaller rooms
  • A quiet space if needed – Staffed sensory safe space available for children with additional needs during the Sunday services.
  • In group support to enable children’s work to be available for all and individual needs met.
  • Alternative seating arrangements during a church service – please talk to the Welcome Team, who can help
  • Someone to talk to about any other needs – Gordon and Sue Kruse are happy to have a chat
